Book Review | Sammy Spider’s First Shavuot
by Sylvia A. Rouss

Score: 2

Sammy Spider is back to teach us about Shavuot and the concept of step-by-step or “First-Then-Now” as described in the book. While I love the colorful, collage illustrations put together by Katherine Janus Kahn, I am a little tired of Sammy Spider and mixing concepts with Jewish holidays. I realize that it is great to have a brand, but all good thigs must someday come to an end.

This is a nice book to have in the library for Shavuot.
