This is a beautiful way to introduce young children to the Book of Psalms. The Psalms themselves have been well-adapted using language and concepts that children can understand. The accompanying illustrations are quite beautiful and assist in defining the meaning of the text.
I always search a book like this, especially one from a Christian publishing house, for subtle Christian signs or overtones in the language or illustrations. I found none. Instead, I found a lovely way to introduce young children to the healing nature of the Psalms and to the powerful use of Psalms as prayers.
