Book Review | Nathan’s Hanukkah Bargain
by Jacqueline Dembar Greene

Score: 3

Yes, another Hanukkah story. But this is a nice one about a grandfather and a grandson on a quest to find the perfect menorah. The illustrations are exactly—and I do mean EXACTLY—as in every Toby Belfer book. The same faces, the same expressions. Beyond that however, the story is very dear in the lessons taught by the grandfather and how they are taken up and put to use by the grandson.

I recommend this book to all Jewish libraries.
